Lange Nacht der Schmuckkunst - 2012

On Tuesday 6th November it's once again time for the Long Night of Jewellery.
This time I will show some of my pieces together with Alex Gasteiger / Sqrl. You can find us in Atelier V&V, Windmühlgasse 9. Alex works with old skateboards and creates colourful earrings, bracelets, pendants... out of them.
Both of us will be very, very happy if you stop by!!

Many of the Events are located in Vienna's first district, one of the most promising there is Enter the Picture in Galerie V&V: Visitors are part of an installation photographed by Andreas Waldschütz and will find themselves pictured on a "Giant Brooch" resembling the works of Margit Hart.

Recently I found a box full of old earrings. My earring holes closed a few years ago, but I thought about getting them redone. I'm a bit afraid of the pain and I'm quite sure they will close again, if I am not wearing earrings regularly...
Anyway since I can't put them into my ears any more, I thought it would be nice to put my earrings onto something. So I drew an ear on a shirt and ta-da I can wear earrings!
